You are a Los Angeles Process Server. My case has defendants in many areas, can you still handle it all for me?
Absolutely! We specialize in serving legal process in Los Angeles County, but there is no need to hire multiple process servers if you have individuals in different areas of California. As a member of the National Association of Professional Process Servers, and California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPro), we have connections with experienced servers who are often located within a few miles away from the serving location. Trust us to handle all your serving needs efficiently and effectively, whether it is in Los Angeles, San Francisco or Irvine.
Why Choose a Process Server to Serve my Case? Can't my friend serve it, or the Sheriff?
Sure, your friend might be able to serve certain legal process if everything goes smoothly. However, it’s important to consider that many individuals do not want to be served. Opting for a professional process server is a wise choice as they possess extensive knowledge of the law and deal with various situations on a daily basis.
Additionally, registered process servers have special legal access to apartment buildings and gated communities. Another advantage of choosing a registered process server is that a proof of service signed by them is less likely to be challenged. Our proof of service or affidavit serves as prima facie evidence that the legal process has been properly served. In the event of a challenge, the burden of proof shifts from our client to the person served. If the service is not carried out by a registered process server or a sheriff, it could result in a prolonged court battle, delays, and uncertainties. The ultimate outcome of a process server’s work is the essential “Proof of Service”, which holds tremendous weight in the entire process.
Any defect observed by the court or opposing attorney may lead to the need to serve the case again, wasting valuable weeks and potentially even resulting in dismissal. While sheriffs possess great experience and have the aforementioned access and uncontested proof of service in court, they lack the flexibility to target your subject at the most opportune times due to their heavy caseload and predefined schedules. They cannot offer the same level of diligence on your case. Unlike a sheriff who gets paid regardless of the outcome, a registered process server relies heavily on cultivating strong client relationships, effective communication, and outstanding customer service to thrive. Process2Serve in Glendale CA boasts over 16 years of experience, assuring you that your case will be handled with utmost care and given the highest level of importance.
I need to serve someone, but they moved. Can you assist me in finding them?
We offer a valuable service called Skip Tracing. With our access to extensive resources from public and private databases, we can locate individuals who have relocated. Our data surpasses what you can find online and is not accessible to the public. By combining this data with our expertise and on-the-ground investigations, we often succeed in locating the individual you need to serve.
In today’s digital world, it is challenging to leave no trail behind. Trust us to find the person you are looking for. Our database can also confirm or obtain a date of birth for correctly filing a restraining order. Without a correct date of birth the information placed into the law enforcement database may not match if the subject is arrested.
